Engineer Trask Promoted in Atlanta

Scott Trask is the new director of engineering for Jefferson-Pilot Communications stations WSTR(FM) and WQXI(AM) in Atlanta.
He succeeds Tom Giglio, who continues to oversee tech operations as Jeff-Pilot corporate vice president of engineering.
Trask joined the AM station as a board op ten years ago, and has worked for the stations as a sports reporter and in traffic. He began training as an engineer in 1999 and was promoted to assistant DOE last year.
In the announcement, Trask said, “I hope to uphold the standard of excellence set by Tom Giglio and JPCC in Atlanta, to be among the best technically run radio stations in the country.”
