SBE14 plans engineer’s day in the Connecticut Valley

SBE Chapter 14 in the Connecticut Valley is laying out plans for its Engineer’s Day blowout, June 5 in Cromwell, Conn., at the Crowne Plaza hotel, starting at 9 a.m.

Currently scheduled are talks on the new EAS system, what broadcast engineers need to know about the National Electric Code and the Method of Moments for AM directional stations.

Charles S. “Buc” Fitch is presenting the discussion on the National Electric Code. Tom Osenkowsky is teaming up with Clarence Beverage for the Methods of Moment presentation. Jerry LeBow of Sage Alerting Systems will handle the EAS session. Fitch and Osenkowsky are contributors to Radio World (which is not involved in the event).

Lunch is free.
