The Society of Broadcast Engineers’ board of directors named Leonard Charles as a trustee of the Ennes Educational Foundation Trust.
Charles is director of engineering at Morgan Murphy Media, an owner of TV and radio stations in Wisconsin and Washington state. He twice has been named SBE Engineer of the Year.
SBE President Vinny Lopez made the announcement.
Charles joins Frederick Baumgartner and Douglas Garlinger as a trustee. The Ennes Educational Foundation Trust, named after engineer Harold E. Ennes, is devoted to engineering education through scholarships and support of educational programs such as the Ennes Workshops.
