From the Who’s Buying What page: Entercom Communications chose Harris as its transmission equipment supplier to convert FMs to HD Radio in Sacramento and New Orleans, the supplier said.
Nine stations – KSEG(FM), KDND(FM), KRXQ(FM), KWOD(FM) and KSSJ(FM) in Sacramento; WEZB(FM), WLMG(FM), WTKL(FM) and WKBU(FM) in New Orleans – will go on-air with Harris Z12HDS and Z16HDS solid-state transmitters by early in the third quarter.
Each Z12CD and Z16CD transmitter will be outfitted with Harris Dexstar exciters, with an upgrade path to the Harris forthcoming Flexstar exciter for additional power and flexibility, according to the equipment firm.
