Entercom Denver Hosting Denver Net Meetings

Entercom Denver is inviting SBE amateurs, hams and anyone else to join it for a new net that meets on the first and third Saturdays of every month at 11 a.m. Mountain time.

Entercom Denver is inviting SBE amateurs, hams and anyone else to join it for a new net that meets on the first and third Saturdays of every month at 11 a.m. Mountain time.

It meets locally on the WA2YZT repeater system in Denver (www.wa2yzt.com), and on the IRLP node #9874 (The Denver Reflector).

Discussions are to include the dissemination and sharing of information pertaining to broadcast engineering and amateur radio. The SBE does not officially sanction the net but Entercom Denver says it is working on that.

“We would love to have as many check in from around the world as are interested,” said Jack Roland, chief engineer for Entercom Denver. This net is in addition to the Official SBE HF Hamnet “Chapter of the Air” that meets the second Sunday of the month at 2400 UTC/0000 Monday on 14.205 MHz. “Please check into that one as well when you can,” he said.

For information on how to log in on the IRLP, contact KE0VH, net control, at [email protected].
