Entercom is the most respected radio broadcast employer, by a substantial margin, according to a report from AMFMTVOnline.com. The directory service says in its 2003 Broadcasting Salary and Job Satisfaction Survey that PBS is the most respected television employer, followed closely by NBC.
About 81% of respondents overall earned more this year than last. But 36% of radio respondents reported lower job satisfaction. Still, almost 70% of radio employees would recommend broadcasting as a career.
The survey included 504 respondents.
