Entercom Names Rosenthal Senior Director, Digital Content

He’s a former consultant with Ogilvy Interactive.

Entercom Communications appointed Joe Rosenthal senior director of digital content.

He’ll work with Entercom’s programmers on editorial and “branded” content found on the company’s various digital outlets. A spokeswoman said this is a newly created position.

Rosenthal has 12 years of media experience, most recently as a consultant with Ogilvy Interactive, developing content strategy and tactics for clients like Time Warner Cable, DHL and Thomson Reuters.

Prior to joining Ogilvy, he oversaw online content development at Vivendi-Universal Net USA (including GetMusic and and Scholastic Inc., where he was responsible for launching educational technology sites.
