WEEI Sports Radio will be syndicated across 11 New England stations owned by Nassau Broadcasting in a newly announced deal.
Entercom Communications signed a letter of intent for the Nassau stations to carry the programming content of Entercom Boston’s WEEI Sports Radio.
Separately, they agreed on a joint venture to own and operate Nassau’s WCRB(FM) in Boston.
The agreement extends WEEI’s programming into Portland, Maine; Cape Cod, Mass.; Lebanon-Rutland-White River Junction, N.H./Vt.; Concord (Lakes Regions), N.H.; and Montpelier-Barre-St. Johnsbury, Vt.
Entercom and Nassau said they intend to keep WCRB’s classical format; Nassau will continue to manage it. Nassau acquired WCRB within the past year.
