Entercom’s WWWL(AM) property in New Orleans has undergone a little rebranding. Gone is the ESPN Radio programming and in is NBC Sports Radio, part time.

The new operation is similar yet different than Entercom’s New Orleans flagship, WWL(AM/FM), which mixes news, sports and talk programming. WWWL brings in live programming and local sports talk, food and talk from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. After that it broadcasts NBC Sports Radio in the evening and overnight. There is also an NBC Sports Radio network program from 9 a.m. to noon.

Vice President and General Manager of Entercom New Orleans Chris Claus said, “3WL 1350 celebrates the three greatest passions of New Orleanians: sports, food and fun! Think of 3WL as a radio station as tasty as gumbo, as fun as Mardi Gras and as passionate as Saints fans on Sundays.”
