Entercom Sacramento Names New VP of Sales

Lance Richard had been serving as vice president of integrated sales

Entercom Communications Corp. says Lance Richard has been named vice president of sales for Entercom Sacramento. In his new role, Richard will oversee sales for six Entercom stations in Sacramento: KUDL(FM), KCTC(AM), KDND(FM), KKDO(FM), KRXQ(FM) and KSEG(FM).

Richard, who had been serving as the company’s vice president of integrated sales, joined Entercom in November 2009.

Prior to joining Entercom, Richard spent two years as the regional sales director for Monster.com, where he managed an 18-state territory covering the central United States. His sales team represented a proprietary network of sites that include Monster.com, Military.com, FastWeb.com, and AffinityLabs.com.

From March 1997 to September 2000, Richard served as the director of sales for Clear Channel in Houston, a cluster of eight radio properties. Prior to that, Richard spent 10 years in Atlanta working in various sales and management positions with radio station WFOX(FM). He sits on the board of the Western Michigan University Advertising and Promotion Industry Advisory Board.
