Entercom, Saga Go With WideOrbit

WO Traffic and WO CRM to be used to support group’s 100 stations

Entercom Communications has chosen a pair of WideOrbit products for network-wide use.

WO Traffic and WO CRM will be used to consolidate the group owner’s stations on traffic and customer relations management platforms. Previously WideOrbit along with a mix of others had been used.

Leslie Hartmann of Entercom told the supplier: “This was more than a traffic decision for us, but a revenue management decision.” The traffic system is now installed in all of its markets. Entercom owns approximately 100 stations in 23 markets.

In other news, the supplier said Saga Communications has selected WideOrbit Automation for Radio to automate 12 stations in four U. S. markets. Ray Eifler is chief information officer for Saga Communications.
