Spanish-language broadcaster Entravision will use Abacast software for online streaming of 42 radio stations; the companies will also offer the Abacast system to Entravision’s 300 radio affiliates.
Entravision and Abacast will also join forces to expand digital ad sales for the Latino market.
Entravision COO Jeffery Liberman says Abacasts’s multiple ad insertion systems “provides opportunities for our advertisers to enhance digital revenue across our affiliates as they continue to ramp up their digital sales efforts.”
With the Abacast Clarity Digital Radio System, stations can stream their content online and monetize it, according to the firm. In addition to streaming, Abacast provides digital audio campaign management, ad insertion, audience metrics, SoundExchange-compliant royalty reporting, as well as mobile and desktop players.
