Radio outlets of Spanish-language media company Entravision raised almost $1.25 million for the Children’s Miracle Network during the network’s third annual Para Los Niños Radiothon.
The radiothon took place on Nov. 19–21 and aired on the La Tricolor, José, Super Estrella, Que Pasa, Maria and El Gato networks.
The money is aimed at 13 Children’s Miracle Network-affiliated hospitals in Entravision markets.
Joe Trevino of Children’s Miracle Network said the funds will help the organization “continue to provide the very best care to sick and injured children.”
Entravision Radio President Jeffery Liberman said the goal had been $1 million.
