Envision Radio Networks has announced the availability of “AppCheck,” a new 15-second daily program free concentrating on apps for smartphones and tablet computers such as iPads.
Show host J. Coleman explains: “When 14 billion apps have been downloaded in just the last three years, it’s pretty obvious apps have captured the world’s attention in a very big way. But, this is just the beginning… In the next three years, app downloads are projected to reach 42 billion. If every Smartphone owner uses or downloads an app a day, this is a phenomenon that can’t be ignored.”
Envision Radio Networks CEO and President Danno Walkoff said: “AppCheck offers programming specifically designed for PPM markets at no cost to affiliates… Radio stations can use AppCheck on-air, online and on demand throughout multiple dayparts.”
The show will address apps for major platforms such as Apple, Google Android and BlackBerry. Each daily show will address a particular new app.
