Syndicator Enye Radio Group and Mexican media company MVS Radio said they’ve launched the first EXAFM format on the East Coast of the United States.
WQSA(FM) in Macon, Ga., and WBAW(FM) serving Hilton Head, S.C. and Augusta, Ga., will air the youth-oriented “Orange Station” format, which is a blend of Spanish-language hits with “Spanglish Rhythmic” tunes.
This marks a move east for a format heard in California and Texas as well as Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador and Ecuador. It also marks an expansion of Spanish-language FMs in the state of Georgia beyond Atlanta.
Enye Radio Group says it has aggressive growth plans in the region.
