Promotional e-mails have gone out to members of the National Religious Broadcasters on behalf of Nathan Tabor, who is running for Congress in North Carolina.
The “Dear NRB member” letter states that the campaign, run by Stu Epperson, chairman of Salem Communications, has raised $100,000 in its first three months. Tabor, who calls himself “a strong, common sense, conservative, Christian candidate,” hopes to win the seat now held by fellow Republican Richard Burr, who is running for the Senate.
He is vice president of sales and marketing for Revival Soy. Epperson himself is a former Republican candidate for Congress.
