Don Roudebush has joined Electronics Research Inc. as radio account manager for the western region, ERI VP of Domestic Sales Joe Meleski announced. He replaces Shawn Knotts, who will now serve as television broadcast systems account manager for the western region.
Roudebush will have responsibility for the sale and support of ERI’s broadcast antenna systems, towers, transmission line systems and FM filter and combiner products in the western United States.
Roudebush served as program manager and senior director of site development at Educational Media Foundation (K-Love and Air1 radio). He has also held product development and marketing positions at Pacific Bell and Southwestern Bell and is a 2006 graduate of the NAB Executive Development Program. He began his broadcast career in 1981 as a part-time board operator and copywriter at KGOE(AM) and KNJO(FM) in Thousand Oaks, Calif. while attending Moorpark College.
According to the announcement, Roudebush has over 25 years’ experience in terrestrial broadcasting and telecom, including installation of more the 800 FM stations and translators in all 50 states. He has facilitated design of a number of multitenant broadcast sites including towers, antennas, filter and combiner systems, site acquisition, zoning and permitting, procurement, leaseholder entitlements and tenant improvements, and FCC licensing requirements.
Knotts has been with ERI for over 14 years. He will now have responsibility for the sale of ERI’s television antennas, towers, transmission line systems, television filter systems and RF components.
Previously, Knotts was the senior project engineering manager through the digital television build out. Prior to joining ERI, Shawn held project management and product engineering positions at TMI Mechanical Contractors, TRW Automotive Electronics and Universal Tower Inc.
