ESCO Technologies is expanding to include sound isolation enclosures through the acquisition of Acoustic Systems by its subsidiary ETS-Lindgren.
According to ESCO, the purchase bolsters its RF shielding and test operations. The expansion also is intended to strengthen its products in the medical and test markets by providing capabilities to address acoustic concerns.
Acoustic will operate as a division of ESCO’s EMC Test Systems subsidiary, with both headquartered in Austin, Texas.
