ESPN Deportes Lays Out Baseball Plans

Spanish-language coverage includes weekly game, All-Star Game, LCS and World Series

One could say, to paraphrase the immortal words of Chico Escuela, “Baseball been very, very good to ESPN.” So good in fact, that the sports network is expanding the offerings of its Spanish-language coverage vehicle, ESPN Deportes.

Both TV and radio will benefit. On the ESPN Deportes Radio side, every Sunday night there’ll be national game coverage, with a 30-minute pregame show. The All-Star game will also be covered in Spanish, along with select related events. And of course the League Championship Series along with the World Series will be covered.

Eduardo Ortega, Renato Bermúdez and José Francisco Rivera will be on hand for play-by-play duties. Coverage starts March 30, with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the San Diego Padres.
