The folks at ESPN Radio are planning to hit a home run for the upcoming MLB playoffs — broadcast every game live. That includes both of today’s wild card games.
And for those games ESPN Radio will be making use of the ESPN TV teams. ESPN’s Spanish-language ESPN Desportes Radio outlets will be included and fielding their own Spanish-language announcers.
In addition ESPN Radio will be producing regular and special baseball programming in what it calls “around-the-clock” coverage.
It might also be their way of reminding listeners to stay tuned to ESPN Radio in the wake of big sports radio plans from NBC and CBS.
