ESPN Radio promoted Pete Gianesini to the position of senior director of programming, with responsibilities including the daily and overall content and direction of the network’s talk shows. He joined ESPN Radio in 1997, and most recently had been responsible for the editorial content and production staff of its daytime programming, and coordinating efforts between the company and its affiliates.
Prior to joining ESPN Radio, Gianesini was an announcer/host at WAER(FM) and hockey announcer at WHEN(FM) in Syracuse, N.Y.; and a host/producer at WZMX(FM) and morning producer at WRCH(FM) in Hartford, Conn.
