The expansion of sports programming and increasing the availability of team broadcasts beyond their local market continues.
ESPN Radio has announced a multiyear agreement with several Eastern NFL teams to syndicate out-of-market games on Sunday. The agreement begins with the upcoming season.
The teams are: Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, New York Giants, New York Jets and Pittsburgh Steelers. ESPN says that Herm Edwards, Bill Polian and Damien Woody will work the games, along with other on-air talent to-be-named-later.
