ESPN Radio Web Site Beefs Up

If it has moving pictures, is it radio?
ESPNRadio.com is putting a gloss on its Web presence. The site, which the company says was the top sports streaming site on the Internet as measured by MeasureCast in 2002, has debuted a new design that includes video clips from ESPN Motion.
This lets users view video of game highlights, original programs, studio and on-site analysis and interviews. “In addition, the application allows advertisers to run television commercials online maintaining near-television quality and sound,” the company said.
The site also has new polling technology, an expanded affiliate map and enhanced audio archives of interviews. Bruce Gilbert, general manager of ESPN Radio, made the announcement.
