EtherWaves and Digidia have launched a complete DAB+ transmitting and receiving system.
The system, designed for commercial operations, includes a Digidia FlexiDAB headend and a feature-rich EtherWaves DAB+ receiver implemented on a single DSP.
“Once again, EtherWaves’ digital radio software approach is the chosen flexible solution when required to rapidly support different multistandards. With the growing interest of DAB+, we are uniquely positioned to provide digital radio receivers,” EtherWaves Marketing Manager Linda Kedem said.
According to Digidia President Pascal Olivier, transmitting DAB+ with Digidia and receiving DAB+ with EtherWaves is “really good news” for broadcasters wanting to efficiently deploy commercially with a rapid time to market.
