The U.K.’s Association of Independent Music and the Independent Music Companies Association have signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Napster on behalf of the U.K. and European independent record sectors.
This is Napster’s first direct multi-label agreement and it helps give Napster the critical mass it needs to launch its new service later this summer.
