Fairlight Ships Merlin

Fairlight On Air has begun shipping Merlin, its 48-track multi-track recorder, which launched at NAB last April.
Featuring a streamlined recording controller, floating point DSP architecture, a 40-bit SHARC processor, the Merlin records 48 tracks with 16, 20, or 24-bit resolution at all standard sampling rates. The recorder is I/O configurable and available with all digital, analog or a combination of both.
Up to 64 levels of undo and redo are provided for editing. Other features include a scrolling waveform display across all tracks, auto-locate functions and clip track naming functions.
