Although final certification is still to come from the Guinness Book of World Records, the multiplatinum band Fall Out Boy is claiming victory in its bit to set the world record for the most radio interviews in a 24-hour period by a duo.

Bassist Pete Wentz and vocalist/guitarist Patrick Vaughn Stump conducted interviews with 72 stations from Premiere Studios in Los Angeles on 31 October starting at 03:00 PDT. The previous record was interviews with 54 stations.

In May 2008, Alistair Galpin teamed up with John Stansfield of the Problem Gambling Foundation to break the record, conducting interviews with 62 stations.
