The Family Life Network, a religious broadcaster based in Bath, N.Y., has selected the BW Broadcast TR600 V2 to build out its translator network.
Family Life’s Chief Engineer John Coulter said, “We currently have six BW Broadcast TR units in service throughout the Family Life Network. They are easy to set up and can go from box to broadcasting in 10 minutes.”
He added, “The remote functionality works well also whether you’re using a computer or a handheld device over the Internet. The built-in receiver in the translator unit rivals a competitor’s unit but is two-thirds the cost. The adjustable bandwidth is very useful at RF congested tower sites.”
Out on the fruited plains, Great Plains Christian Radio has added 10 of BW’s TR300 V2 translators to its transmission network.
The translators were acquired through SCMS.
