FCC Does Clear Channel/AMFM Paperwork

The FCC’s Mass media Bureau has authorized the transfer of control of AMFM Inc. and its subsidiary licensees to Clear Channel Communications Inc. – sort of the real paperwork backing up last week’s approval by the agency. Clear Channel expects to close the deal soon, according to published accounts.
