Martin Perry is the new chief economist of the FCC. Perry is a lawyer as well as an economist. He’s on leave from Rutgers University where he has been on the economics faculty since 1989 and served as chair of the department for five years. His FCC appointment was effective in January, but the commission just issued the news.
