The FCC has taken additional security precautions that will limit visitor access to the FCC headquarters building in Washington. Until further notice, the Maine Avenue lobby is closed. All visitors must enter the building through the 12th Street lobby, and must be escorted by FCC staff. The Reference Information Center is closed. Filing and docket information remains accessible online. The changes are in response to the Dec. 21 increase in the Homeland Security Threat Level from “Elevated” (Yellow) to “High” (Orange).
