FCC Regulatory Fees Due Sept. 14

Avoid the 25% late fee

Regulatory fees for 2011 are due to the FCC by Sept. 14.

The payment window has opened.

As RW has reported, FM Classes A, B1 and C3 pay $675 for stations serving a population of 25,000 or less, ranging up to $9,450 for those stations serving a population of 3 million or more.

FM Classes B, C, C0, C1 and C2 owe $850 to $11,050 depending on populations served, while Class A AMs owe $700 to $8,400.

AM CP holders pay $490 and FM CP holders pay $675.

There’s a 25% late fee for those who miss the deadline.
