Communications law firm Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis LLP has added Michael T. Mullinix as its new technology policy adviser.
Mullinix previously served as a senior electrical engineer for the Federal Communications Commission’s International Bureau for 14 years. While there, he was named winner of the FCC’s Excellence in Engineering Award for outstanding engineering contributions to the commission four times.
He will assist counsel in representing clients before multiple federal agencies and also will work directly with the International Telecommunication Union, including the Radiocommunication and Telecommunication Standardization Sectors and the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission.
Mullinix is an expert on radiocommunication, international telecommunication standardization and development, wireless telecommunications, spectrum access and incentive auctions and has experience in international telecommunications negotiations.

Mullinix is a graduate of the A. James Clark School of Engineering at the University of Maryland.
