FCC to Hold Media Ownership Hearing in Los Angeles

The FCC will hold a public hearing on media ownership issues in Los Angeles, on Oct. 3.
Chairman Kevin Martin said public input is integral to the process as the commission pursues its biennial review of the media ownership rules, including the local radio limits. He wants to involve the American people in the process and hear what individuals believe about the impact of the rules on localism, minority ownership, and various types of programming.
