The FCC said “no” to the request by American Family Association, licensee of KBKC(FM), Moberly, Mo., that its $5,000 fine for operating the station without a main studio be rescinded. AFA argued this should be considered a minor violation with a $500 fine. AFA also asserted paying the penalty could be financially devastating, but the agency said AFA provided no documentation to back this up.
