FCC’s Pai to Speak at
 Radio Show

New commissioner to engage in a ‘conversation’ with NAB’s Jane Mago

FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai will speak at the Radio Show, Sept.19 in Dallas, announced the National Association of Broadcasters.

The session, “A Conversation With FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai,” will be moderated by NAB Executive Vice President and General Counsel Jane Mago. Pai will share his views on communications policy and the future of radio broadcasting.

Pai became an FCC commissioner in May, 2012. Between 2007 and 2011, Pai held several positions in the FCC’s office of general counsel, including deputy general counsel. Prior to this, he was a partner in the communications practice at Jenner & Block LLP and associate general counsel at Verizon Communications.. Pai has also held positions in the United States Department of Justice’s antitrust division and the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.

The Radio Show is Sept. 19–21 in Dallas. It is produced by the NAB and the Radio Advertising Bureau.
