The long-standing battle of pirate station Radio Free Brattleboro vs. the FCC seems to be over, according to the Rutland Herald.
A federal court upheld the commission’s previous decision and ruled the station can’t resume broadcasting without a license and the station’s attorney said an appeal is not likely. The case is unusual because the pirates won the support of the town to broadcast.
