First Broadcasting Hires EVP Engineering

Broadband expert Alastair Westgarth is the first executive vice president of engineering and software systems for radio investor First Broadcasting Investment Partners, LLC. Westgarth comes to first from wireless broadband technology firm Navini Networks, where he was president/CEO.
Westgarth will direct all of First Broadcasting’s engineering and software initiatives, including the development and integration of digital tools and systems to broaden the company’s technology platform. In addition to Navini Networks, Westgarth previously worked for Nortel Networks in various senior technology positions, including vice president of network intelligence. He began his career with Bell Mobility Cellular in Canada.
First Broadcasting provides capital and strategic expertise to the radio industry, and says it enhances value through investments, technical upgrades and operational expertise.
