Dallas radio executive George L. Laughlin was named a managing director of business development for First Broadcasting Investment Partners, a radio merchant bank. He will be involved in its investment, joint venture and acquisition efforts. First Broadcasting’s chairman and CEO referred to Laughlin as “one of the rising young stars in the radio industry.”
Laughlin oversaw Radio One’s entry into the Dallas market; he is a former VP of sales for five Dallas stations now owned by Clear Channel.
