First Media Radio Sells Off Four Stations

Two different media companies acquire licenses and assets of Pennsylvania stations

Seven Mountains Media and Southern Belle have acquired the assets and licenses, respectively, of four Pennsylvania radio stations.

First Media Radio sold WZWW(FM), a 790 watt station licensed to Bellefonte, Pa.; WMRF(FM), a 3,900 watt station licensed to Lewistown, Pa.; WLAK(FM), a 160 watt station licensed to Huntingdon, Pa.; and WIEZ(AM), a 5,400 watts daytimer licensed to Lewistown, Pa.

Alex Kolobielski, chief operating officer of First Media, made the sale via broker Larry Patrick of Patrick Communications. The transaction totaled $2,075,000 cash at closing.
