Frances M. Flood, president and CEO of Gentner Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:GTNR), has been named chair of the company’s board of directors. Flood has served as Gentner president since November 1997 and as CEO since July 1998. Gentner’s revenues have increased more than 300% under Flood’s tenure. Earnings per share have grown form a loss of $.05 per share to $.54 per share for the fiscal year that ended June 30. Gentner’s stock price has seen a 1,500-percent increase, from less than $1 to the current price of approximately $15.
