Authorities shut down an illegal Haitian station broadcasting on 106.1 MHz in Port St. Lucie, Fla., this week, according to the Palm Beach Post.

Police raided a home with a 50-foot antenna on the roof Wednesday, it reported, acting on information from the FCC, and charged Roubens Maignan with unauthorized transmissions.

According to the paper, “Maignan’s wife and daughter pulled up to the house during the search. An adult cousin took custody of the 5-year-old girl and an 11-year-old daughter who was in the home when police first arrived. Maignan’s 19-year-old son squealed his Honda into a neighbor’s driveway as the evidence technician loaded the station equipment into a crime-scene van.” Jean Louis Prophete was charged with resisting arrest without violence.
