Florida Prosecutors Reject Limbaugh Plea

Prosecutors in Palm Beach Florida have rejected a deal offered by Rush Limbaugh’s attorney to allow the radio host to enter a drug treatment program rather than face charges for illegally obtaining prescription painkillers. The Palm Beach Post reports that prosecutors instead wanted Limbaugh to plead guilty to “doctor shopping,” a third-degree felony, three-year’s probation, taking part in a drug treatment program and random drug testing. Limbuagh, under investigation for months, has not been arrested, nor charged.
