The FCC began its auction of FM construction permits Thursday. A total of 214 bidders are eligible for 171 CPs, including 30 FM CPs that were offered, but not sold, in Auction 37.
Various vacant allotments are offered, from 88 to 108 MHz. See Public Notice DA 05-1598. Bidding continues Friday and then takes a break for the Martin Luther King, Jr. federal holiday Monday, Jan. 16 and resumes Jan. 17.
