KISS FM in São Paulo has converted to HD Radio, becoming the first station to transmit both an analog and digital FM signal in Brazil, according to Broadcast Electronics.
The station is using BE’s FMi 73 transmitter package into a separate antenna. The signal is being picked up at BE’s booth at a broadcast convention in Brazil this week for off-air listening; serious testing of the air signal will begin next week, said the supplier.
