Digital Radio Express said a radio station in Norway is testing its digital broadcasting system, FMeXtra.

Radio 1 in Oslo is the first radio station in that country to test FMeXtra, which is developed by DRE. The digital subcarrier-based system uses the station's existing transmitter/antenna configuration.

SBS radio Norway operates Radio 1 in the four largest cities in Norway. The test is being done through Noble Records, DRE's FMeXtra distributor for Scandinavia.
