StreamGuys has hired Matt Kellogg as its new global sales executive.
Kellogg was most recently employed at now-defunct online radio site Live365 as an outside sales executive. He had been with the streamer since November 2014, and while there, he pioneered a talk/music hybrid 24/7 Internet radio station.
Kellogg began his radio career as an intern at Maverick Media in Santa Rosa in 2001. He was later promoted to music director for KFXX(FM) in 2005. From there, he began working in the San Francisco market as a traffic, news and sports reporter for KMVQ(FM), KCBS(AM) and KNBR(AM), among others.
In 2011, he transitioned into advertising sales, holding positions at Cumulus Media and Salem Communications.
He is a 2008 graduate of San Francisco State University with a bachelor’s degree in Radio and TV.
