Cumulus Media-Nashville has appointed Jeff Meltesen as senior account executive for sponsorship sales.
Meltesen is the former publisher of NASH Country Weekly. He will report to WKDF(FM) and WSM(FM) General Sales Manager Rhonda Rollins and will focus on advertising programs for clients on Cumulus’ country radio stations and sponsorship sales of events and promotions for all stations in the Nashville cluster.
The company has also named Matt Malone as assistant program director and weekday afternoon drive host for Kansas City, Mo., station KCJK(FM).
Malone most recently served as APD and on-air personality at KURQ(FM) in San Luis Obispo, Calif. Prior to that, he was based in Chicago as corporate programming assistant for Cumulus Media and was APD for WLS(FM). Malone was also on-air at WLUM(FM) in Milwaukee.
