Multipurpose audio equipment maker Fostex has announced that its PM0.5 powered monitors have received a component and cabinet upgrades and are now designated PM0.5n.
The PM0.5n are two-way biamplified monitors. The LF driver is a 5-inch aromatic polyamide resin impregnated woofer with a thermally adhered olefin film. Its voice coil is high-purity copper. The 0.75-inch HF driver is a polyurethane laminated cloth soft dome tweeter.
Both onboard amps are rated at 35 W. The rear plane includes a volume control along with an XLR-1/4-inch combo input jack. Available in piano gloss black and white. Price: $249 per pair.
