The French government has officially approved DAB+ as an option to T-DMB for digital radio in the country.
Approved Aug. 16, 2013, the order amended a January 2008 ruling on terrestrial and satellite digital broadcasting in the L-band and S-bands.
The Minister of Industry Renewal Arnaud Montebourg, Culture and Communication Minister Aurelie Fillipetti and Minister Delegate to the Minister of Industrial Renewal Fleur Pellerin signed the decree, according to Radio-Numerique France.
